Xyron

Xyron is a supporting antagonist in Heroes Chronicles and Heroes of Might and Magic III. He was an efreet, one of the oldest demonic villains, and later a warlord of Eofol, one of the most active minions of the forces of evil.

Personality

Xyron was one of the most active minions of the forces and leaders of evil. He followed almost most of the villains who wanted world domination or total destruction, they were mainly leaders of demons or demonic creatures. He was always seen on the side of villains, most of the major positive characters fought against him in Enroth. It is very likely that he had a chaotic, unpredictable, rude and selfish personality, as even in the new world his new plans included burning the world completely, and he did not hesitate to imprison acquaintances such as Octavia.

Biography

Heroes of Might and Magic III and Heroes Chronicles

Xyron was an efreet who served the forces of darkness from the beginning. The immortal hero Tarnum had to fight against him several times. They first fought each other in the Underworld, where the efreet guarded the Orb of Inhibition, but the immortal hero defeated him and his demonic army. After a long time, he returned again, this time he and another efreet, Octavia, served Pyranneste, the Elemental Lord of Fire together so that he and the other Elemental Lords would destroy the world. Tarnum, however, reached the Plane of Fire with the wizards and defeated the two efreets and the armies of the fire elementals. He will then later appear on the Fiery Moon, where he will also be one of Vorr the Insane's minions and will guard the prison where the Ancestors were imprisoned. His former companion, Octavia, is also locked up, but Xyron probably didn't care about her and kept her in the same way and didn't let her out. When Tarnum and the barbarian army arrived on the Fiery Moon, Vorr and Xyron began to torture the Ancestors with their magical powers, it is not known whether Octavia was included, but this had a bad effect on Tarnum's condition. He began to grow older and weaker and his health deteriorated, as his existence depended heavily on the Ancestors, who were dying from torture. Vorr left the prison, and Xyron guarded it with a large and strong army and was already waiting for the barbarians. In the battle, despite Tarnum's weak condition, he once again defeated his opponent, who fled while his army was completely destroyed. The immortal hero then freed the Ancestors and stopped Vorr, and Xyron did not reappear for a long time.

He did not appear until much later, during the invasion of the kingdom of Erathia. He participated in the invasion of Erathia. The forces of Nighon captured three cities, these were Plinth, Mirham and Trailia. However, the most important city in the area was an underground fortress called Terraneus. The forces of Erathia, led by a famous knight, Sir Christian, launched a counterattack, and Xyron's mission was to defeat the attacking enemy. The efreet’s troops were not among the strongest armies of the evil alliance, yet he took on the battle. Christian defeated Xyron, who retreated and was not seen for a while. He reappeared only later, when he supported another attempt at world domination, namely the power-hungry conquests of Mutare Drake, the dragon queen of Nighon. He and other villains who once served Eofol joined forces with the armies of Nighon and the combined evil force was ready to attack. Only one person stood in their way, namely Xyron's sworn enemy, Tarnum, who led the combined armies of AvLee and Erathia to stop the evil. The efreet and the Immortal Hero fought again, but Xyron suffered another defeat and was not seen for some time after that. Tarnum defeated the other demonic villains as well as Mutare.

Heroes of Might and Magic IV

Xyron survived the Reckoning, but was completely disillusioned with the Kreegans and even the demons. Failure on their part was too much for him and he successfully convinced the efreets to end their alliance with the kreegan and demons. After that, they joined the survivors of Nighon and as their allies they could live a much freer life, because they set fire to, burned or destroyed what they wanted. Xyron had a desire to scroching the new world completely, but in the end nothing came of this plan.
