| ~ The Unhinged Fan to Retsuko. |
The Unhinged Fan is the primary antagonist in the third season of Aggretsuko. He is an OTMGirls fan and he came to despise the band's new direction when Retsuko joins them.
He was voiced by Sohta Arai in the Japanese version and by Ben Lepley in the English version.
Biography
The fan is first seen watching the concert when Haida was leaving. He is later seen stalking Retsuko while walking home.
At the fan shaking, the stalker comes with one hundred tickets to have three hundred seconds with Retsuko. He grabs her hands and tells her that their music is trash and their lyrics are unintelligible. He comments that only thirty seconds have passed and have four minutes to insult her.
After this, the OTMGirls manager Hyoudou and some of the fans recognize the emblem on the stalker's jacket, being the same one from the fan's OTMGirls fake account and it was a 2018 limited edition. Hyoudou realizes that the stalker is a fan of the old OTMGirls and doesn't approve of the new direction.
At night time, the fan purchases a box cutter and plans to kill Retsuko with it. When she heads off to work, the fan continues to follow and take pictures of Retsuko on the way and puts them on the fake account. Manaka sees the pictures on the account and calls Retsuko about the fan following her. The fan then approaches Retsuko and tries to kill her. However, Haida, with rage, takes him down. Some of the bystanders hold him down while Haida checks on Retsuko who was unconscious.
After the incident, the stalker is sent to prison and later appears in Retusko's dreams of her fans turning against her and fearing them, prompting her to retire from the OTMGirls and due to the stalker leaking her details on the internet, move to a new apartment and the OTMGirls hired three bodyguards for her safety.
