Trivia

  • Souichi often believes himself to be a vampire, by shaping his teeth to be fangs, drinking the blood of women, and having his grandpa build him a westernized coffin.
  • He only resembles one member of the Tsujii family, that being his grandmother who is deceased.
  • Souichi doesn't wear two candles on his head randomly or to be able to see in the dark, it's a part of a Japanese ritual called "Ushi no toki mairi" meaning "Visit at the hour of the ox", the purpose of the ritual is to cast a curse upon someone. The curse has to be conducted between 1am to 3am (the hour of the Ox). Between these hours the practitioner has to wear candles on his/her head, and nail a straw doll that represents their target, to a tree, in order for the curse to take place.
