Riptor is a character from Rare's Killer Instinct fighting series. She was a genetically engineered velociraptor created by Ultratech.
History
Killer Instinct
Riptor made her debut in the original Killer Instinct. She was created by UltraTech after they spliced human and reptile genes.
Killer Instinct (2013)
After being absent from Killer Instinct 2, Riptor made her return in Season 2 of the reboot where Ultratech used cybernetic implants to turn her into a cybernetic raptor.
Powers and Abilities
In the original game, Riptor primarily attacks with her rapid claw attacks, razor sharp teeth and spitting venom from her mouth. In the 2013 reboot, she has been given new cybernetic enhancements that allow her to breathe fire and separate her tail into several linked units that can stretch out and attack an opponent from a distance.
Trivia
Riptor appeared in Season 1 of the popular web series Death Battle! where she fought against Yoshi from Super Mario Bros. and lost.
