Myglom is a minor antagonist in Green Lantern: The Animated Series. He is the warden of the Spider Guild Prison who ran the system for his own gain and appetite, as well as running a "rehabilitation program". While posing as a decent authority figure at first, in actuality, he was a sadistic individual that ran a "traditional sense" of torture that involves using specialized headsets that make the person relive their worst moments in a painful matter before feasting on them.
He is voiced by Robert Englund who voiced Vulture of Spectacular Spiderman, The Riddler of The Batman, Stag- Man and Anti Pops of Regular Show, Felix Faust of Justice League, Scarecrow of Injustice, Freddy Krugrer of Nightmare on Elm Street, Samuel Lee of Hawaii Five O.
Personality
Myglom is seen as a decent and open warden who wanted to have prisoners be given rehabilitation, while in actuality after exposing his program to Razer he was shown to be deceptive, sadistic, cruel, and repulsive as he takes full amusement over torturing the minds of his prisoners before feasting on their heads. He also seems to have a sense of greed due to his hunger for eating other beings and takes complete delight in it as exposing his true nature of his crimes to Hal Jordan after being baited by Kilowog.
Biography
It is unknown what was Myglom like before he was the Spider Guild Prison's warden, though shortly after becoming one, he ran the prison's system for the sake of satisfying his own hunger as he somehow got hold of a batch of yellow crystals to prevent any certainty of intervention from fellow enforcers like the Green Lanterns and soon made the very headsets that were made to force the person to relive their worse moments torturously. It was only a matter of time before he and his guards eat the prisoners after torturing and webbing them in their special chamber, which the systematic torture was so bad that many had tried to escape but to no avail, with exception of Goggan who tried to escape for twelve years when Hal and Kilowog arrived.
In the present, Hal and Kilowog brought in Razer to have him taken into custody for his crimes, which Myglom greeted the lanterns and ensured them that he would help Razer in their "rehabilitation program" which his "former guests" never returned to a life of crime as they left, leaving Razer to their care. As soon as Razer was hooked up to his cell and placed the headset device onto his head, forcing him to relive the memories where his home was at war and losing his beloved Ilana that very day.
As soon as Hal and Kilowog returned to the prison under concern about what Goggan told them about the guards "torturing" the prisoners, they were soon captured by Myglom's guards upon being nullified by the yellow crystals. With Hal and Kilowog webbed within their chamber full of their past victims webbed in the caverns, Myglom appears before them as he explains how he was running the prison using the very headsets that gave people "a couple of bad dreams" before eating them alive, which he had Hal and Kilowog tortured shortly as he sadistically laughed.
After knowing they've been tortured enough, he had his guards let go of the headsets so he could devour their heads alive, starting with Hal, however, they were stopped at the last second as Razer (who escaped thanks to Aya freeing him and getting his Red Lantern ring back) then freed them. The three then fought Myglom and his guards, though Hal had a difficult time fighting the latter before getting the upper hand with his guards following their defeat as well under Razer's hands.
Myglom and his guards are soon locked up in a number of cells for their abuse of the prisoners and Goggan is left in charge as their temporary warden until the new warden arrives 18 months later.
