Metal Kaeden is the main antagonist of the PSP game Daxter. He was the leader of the Metal Bugs, a minority of the Metal Heads. He also served as Metal Kor's right hand before his death.
History
Allegience to Kor
Kaeden was a Metal Bug (sub-species of Metal Head), and was born approximately 179 years after the Metal Heads arrived through the rift gate. He became Kor's right-hand and the leader of the Metal Bugs. Kaeden vowed to serve Kor and aid him in his goals.
The Metal Bugs
Kaeden led the Metal Bugs and infested Haven City in an attempt to shut down the shield wall that kept the Metal Heads out. To this end, he assumed the form of a human in an attempt to shut down all the exterminator businesses so there would be nobody to stop his Metal Bugs. He succeeded in shutting down all but Osmo's. In an attempt to take out Osmo, he was forced to kill Daxter's flea sidekick and destroy Osmo's business, though Osmo himself survived.
Final Moments & Death
Kaeden encountered Daxter and revealed his nature as the leader of the Metal Bugs. Daxter defeated Kaeden but Kaeden warned Daxter about the Metal Heads taking over Haven City someday.
Personality
Kaeden was loyal to Kor and was shown to be rather sadistic. However, he could also be quite fearful of Kor due to him threatening to kill Kaeden if he failed him. Kaeden was unhappy due to his being threatened by his boss despite being loyal to him as well as his ignorance of the importance Jak served to Kor's plans, so he compensated for this by taking his anger out on others. He was also very confident in the Metal Heads, his last words being to tell Daxter that the Metal Heads would win, though this assumption was proven wrong in the end.
Appearance
Like Kor, he has a human disguise. In his human form, Kaeden wore a large, dark blue cloak with orange sleeves, resembling the color scheme of his metal bug persona. He had long graying-black hair but balding on top, indicating old age, with large sinister eyebrows, a constant crossed and indignant facial expression, a drawn face, tall head, and comparatively stubby nose.
Kaeden's true form was that of a gigantic, seemingly robotic, flying insect, with the signature Metal Head skull gem on his forehead.
