Malaranea Eldritch is a major antagonist in The Adventures of Puss in Boots.
She is the second daughter born into the Eldritch Family, and is known to be the worst and most evil of the sisters, carrying out her actions in cold blood having learned to manipulate the dreams of others and also a guardian of part of the Gem of the Crown of Souls.
She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren; who also voiced Charmcaster in Ben 10, Emma Frost in Wolverine and the X-Men, Enchantress in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Saber Alter Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel in english, Haruko Haruhara in FLCL, Rip Van Winkle in Hellsing Ultimate, Diva in Blood+ and Anemone in Eureka Seven.
Appearance
Malarena is a tall and charming woman, with very pale white skin, she has brown eyes with thick eyebrows above and brown hair tied in a bun. She always wears silvery gray clothes, with a many-pointed crown on her head, a high collar and shoulder pads, and a semi-skirt. She may have spider legs twice as long as her legs, always flashing grey.
Personality
As said by Malviola, Malarena is the worst of all the Eldritch sisters, she is the most evil witch among the four and she does not hesitate to kill people in cold blood to prevent them from foiling her plans. She has a great thirst for power that makes her honed to always want to turn other people's dreams into nightmares so she can take advantage of them. However, she also has a comedic side, in dancing. She also has a soft side which was then her redemption; Even though she is harsh and strict with her sisters, she shows that she actually cares for them and loves her family.

Backstory
Before the events of the series, Malarena was born to the magical Eldritch family at Eldritch Castle, as the second sister after Maldonna and followed by Malviola and Maliflua, with whom she constantly argued, even because she was the most strict, but also the most loving. When they were old enough, the four sisters were tasked with guarding four pieces of the Crown of Souls' central gem so that the crown could not be used for evil, nor free the Bloodwolf. King Borval, however, thought that because the sisters constantly fought, they would never be able to do a good job of reuniting the Gem.
The eldest of the sisters, Maldonna, decided to capitalize on her witch upbringing and wrote a tell-all book about herself and her sisters. The sisters were furious about this and in their anger, they cursed their family name, even themselves so that they would deprive Maldonna of her powers and thus their memories.
It is not known how Malarena managed to obtain those powers to control dreams, but from then on, unlike her sisters, she did not abandon the castle and remained there to live, as a memory of her lost family, whom she constantly missed. , so she got a little crazy and weird and started working hard on it.
