You missed your time! The Vizier has already begun to transform the women I imprisoned! You buy yourself hours at best!
~ Mahasti to the Prince.

Mahasti is one of the four generals of the Vizier and a supporting antagonist in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

History

Mahasti

Mahasti was one of the warriors recruited by the Vizier to act as one of his generals and accompanied him in his assault on Babylon. When the Prince attempted to stop the Vizier from killing Kaileena and unleashing the Sands of Time, Mahasti appeared along with the other generals, Klompa and the Twin Warriors, and drove her Daggertail whip into his arm, restraining him.

After the Vizier successfully killed Kaileena, Mahasti and the other generals were infected by the sands, becoming empowered and corrupted by them. She began imprisoning women in a brothel and was eventually confronted by Farah and the Prince. Knowing she was outmatched, Mahasti fled and eventually the Prince confronted her again. Halfway through the battle, the Prince transformed into the Dark Prince and eventually pushed Mahasti off a ledge, ignoring her claims that he would never defeat the Vizier.

His response was "If I got sands for every time someone said that to me - oh wait," paused to absorb the sands from Mahasti, "I do."

Powers and Abilities

Mahasti was at first extremely acrobatic, an ability which was increased when she was corrupted by the Sands of Time. She also gained great strength and agility and after losing her Daggertail whip to the Prince, she began wielding a pair of jagged swords.

Trivia

  • Out of all those corrupted by the Sands of Time, Mahasti is the only one to almost completely retain her original physical appearance.
  • She fights very similarly to Shahdee from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
