Jack in the Box is a supporting antagonist in the 1990 videogame Castle of Illusion (also known as Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse) and its 2013 remake.
Biography
The Jack in the Box is a Master of Illusion working under Mizrabel. He used to be a court jester, but now he lives in Toyland within the Castle of Illusion plays with the toys and causes mischief. He was given the Orange Rainbow Gem, needed to create a bridge to Mizrabel.
Jack in the Box first on Joker cards when Mickey goes into a magic hat. He then appeared at the top of stage 1 when Mickey got the key to the next stage, sending him back to the bottom. His box can be seen in the background of stage 2. During the boss fight, Jack in the Box jumps around or spins around the arena, trying to hit Mickey with his boxing gloves. When this fails he tries to a single glove, this attack him itself when Mickey dodges and causes jump springs to pop out. One of them is in a position for Mickey to jump on allowing him to attack the boss. When he does these enough times, Jack in the Box is defeated and he takes the Orange Rainbow Gem. It is unknown what happened to Jack in the Box after Mizrabel's defeat.
