Indignus

Indignus is a minor antagonist in Dragon Quest XI, and is the gatekeeper of the Fortress of Fear.

Biography

Indignus first appeared when the Luminary arrived the Fortress of Fear, he made an attempt to kill him by throwing his blade at him even though he expected them to avoid it. He than comments the Luminary being able to defeat other Spectral Sentinels and being able to get to the fortress, but still vows to kill them. In the end, Indignus is defeated and he warned them about time is what its is now and is unable to change before disappearing in purple mist, leaving the Blue Orb behind.

Appearance

Indignus is basically a recoloured Nokturnus that is blue in colour. However, his helmet is different from Nokturnus's as he wears a dragon-styled one.

Personality

Indignus is very loyal to Mordegon, and also shows respect towards the Luminary for his great achievement, and Erik for escaping the Rock of Wrong.

Trivia

Indignus is similar to Dhuran, both being major generals in a Demon Lord's army (Mordegon and Mortamor)
- In addition, they each have a solo fight against a lone wolf type character. (Erik and Terry.)
- Both of them also respect their opponents.
