Gustafson is the secondary antagonist of the 2020 Christmas movie, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.

He was the former apprentice of Jeronicus Jangle who turned into a successful toymaker after the latter’s latest invention Don Juan Diego convincing him to stealing his master's book of inventions.

As an adult, he was played by Keegan-Michael Key, who also portrayed Pupa in Let's Be Cops, Alpha Wolf in Storks, Kamari in the live-action The Lion King remake, SkekZok in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Bjornson the Cheesemonger in Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Honest John in the live-action Pinocchio remake, Wendell in Wendell & Wild and the Chief-of-Police in Wonka. As a young man, he was played by Miles Barrow.

Biography

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey

According to the story, Gustafson used to be a former apprentice of Jerodicus Jangle as he tried to make inventions just like him, including one called the Twirly Whirly.

On Christmas, Jerodicus briefly had him in charge of the store under the care of his apprentice Gustafson. When Jeronicus’ new invention, Don Juan Diego is distraught to learn that he will be mass-produced, thus robbing him of his uniqueness, he then manages to convince Gustafson to get back at Jeronicus by stealing his book of inventions and bring Don Diego along with him.
