The Greeed are O Medal-based animal-like homunculi and the antagonists of Kamen Rider OOO series. Their name is taken from the English word "Greed".
History
The Greeed were created 800 years ago in Europe by four alchemists under the direction of the First Kamen Rider OOO, who hoped to use them to achieve godhood. Though originally mindless, the Greeed gained wills of their own after having one Medal in each of their sets destroyed. They rebelled against the King but were sealed by him as he attempts to consume their core medals, only to be turned to stone
The Greeed were later unsealed in the present day and began attacking humans to fill the void left within them. As they lack proper senses and the ability to feel complex emotions, the Greeed began attacking humans to satisfy their cravings and feel like humans.
