Ga Jiarg is a supporting character in the sci-fi action role-playing game, Xenoblade Chronicles X. He is the former prince of Wroth that joined forces with the Ganglion, in order to be granted protection for his people. After being bested in combat by Elma and her team, he cuts ties with the Ganglion all together and operates as an independent mercenary.
He is voiced by Tetsu Inada in the Japanese version of the game and by Jamieson Price in its English dub.
Personality
Ga Jiarg is a warrior that carries a sense of pride and honor, being a devoted follower to the Wrothian Way. He cares greatly for his people, prioritizing their well being first and foremost. Despite his alliance to the Ganglion, Ga Jiarg makes it clear that he holds nothing but disdain for them, disapproving of their destructive methods and especially holds a very low view of their leader, Luxaar.
As he and his people are warriors are heart, Ga Jiarg desires to fight those strong and courageous and should his opponents prove their worthy, he treats them with nothing but respect. As such, when Elma and her team are able to defeat him and his mercenaries in combat, Ga Jiarg begins to see them in a positive light and later treats them as comrades, as part of their honor.
