Fire Candle is a major antagonist in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. Known as Fire Candle the Undefeated, he's the commander of No One World Buraidan's Special Attack Force.
He is portrayed by Daisuke Sanbongi.
Biography
Fire Candle begins Buraidan's attack on the human world by piloting his personal Dress Guard, King Candelor, to locate the Tega Sword Red Sentai Ring. Believing himself to be a saviour (though he struggles to find the correct world at first), he wrecks havoc with his mecha while a group of Aryee attack the humans on the ground. After Hoeru obtains the Ring and makes a deal with Tega Sword, Fire Candle decides to fight them using King Candelor. To his complete shock, Hoeru emerges victorious as Fire Candle makes his retreat and escapes the exploding King Candelor, swearing to reclaim his title as an undefeatable by defeating Hoeru.
Personality
True to his name and role in Buraidan, Fire Candle is a hot-headed soldier. Fire Candle uses brute force to achieve his goals and refers to himself as a "saviour" even as he causes destruction in the human world.
In contrast to his personality and attitude, Fire Candle is shown to care for the Aryee under his command, and is even a good friend with some of them. He gets sad when the Aryee are killed in battle, and when his best friend, the Aryee commander Cassios Beia, is killed, he gets even more depressed and swears to avenge him.
