El Pollito is a major antagonist in Illumination's 4th full-length feature film Despicable Me 2, the second installment of the Despicable Me franchise.
He is the pet chicken of Eduardo Perez who abuses Felonious Gru for breaking into the restaurant Salsa & Salsa along with Lucy Wilde.
Biography
El Pollito was first seen guarding the Salsa & Salsa until Gru and Lucy came, El Pollito runs at Gru and pecks at Gru then rips into his shirt and attacks him he is stuck into Gru’s head, where Lucy tries to use her karate moves to hit him but accidentally hits Gru, Pollito Extremely dashes to Lucy before she freezes him, Eduardo unlocks the door and sees pollito trapped in the ice bowl, Eduardo comforts him, After Lucy shoots ice into Eduardo’s eyes El pollito breaks out of the ice.
Later at the salsa & salsa restaurant Pollito recognizes Felonious Gru from last night and finds suspicious that he along with Lucy broke in last night, claiming Eduardo that they never broke in.
Pollito is seen again as he spots Lucy Wilde and rages towards her, But technically he pecks at Lucy’s Agent Card, And also means he’s communicating that Lucy and Gru were working for the Anti-Villain League, revealing El Macho notices that they broke in his restaurant.
El Pollito is last seen pressing the missile launch button that sends Gru and Lucy into the volcano, attempting to murder them. It is unknown what happened to El Pollito after he attempted to kill Gru and Lucy as he was never seen again for the rest of the movie. However, it can be assumed that he got killed by the Minions and Dr. Nefario because what he did to Gru and Lucy.

- According to his name, “El Pollito”, be is usually named Pollito by his owner, El Macho.
- In the scene where he sticks his head out of Gru’s shirt, Is a reference to the iconic chestburster from Alien (1979).
- El Polito and Clive are the only true antagonistic Despicable Me villains that weren’t found in prison at the end of Despicable Me 4. El Pollito and Clive’s whereabouts are unknown. It can be assumed that they died or met their own demise.
