Egyptus

Egyptus is a Ancient Egyptian mummy monster remodeled into a Shocker Kaijin and an antagonist in episode 50 of Kamen Rider.

He was voiced by Tomiya Seki.

History

Egyptus was originally a monster that lived in ancient Egypt in 1800 BC.

In order to obtain the 1 billion yen treasure that Thutmose III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt sent to Japan, Shocker performed life transfer surgery on the mummified Egyptus who knew where it was, and revived it to the present day.

However, because he did not know how to speak Japanese well with and the fighters, he cannot communicate the location of the treasure to Colonel Zol, leading them to try to kidnap a person who can understand ancient Egyptian. After several failed operations, Shocker forced historian Kenzo Gouda to decipher the words of Egyptus.

After learning that the treasure is in Hokkaido, Colonel Zol instructed Egyptus to go to the treasure. Heading to Haneda, Egyptus battled Kamen Rider 2, who had been pursuing him. He attacked Kamen Rider No. 2 with his flame breath but, after being blown away by the rush attack of Cyclone, he received a Rider Kick and exploded.

Egyptus was later one of the monsters reconstructed in the movie version "Kamen Rider vs. Shocker".
