Doruba is a minor antagonist in the manga Samus & Joey, serving as the secondary antagonist for the first chapter. He is the champion of the Space Pirate Dragüd.
Biography
Doruba first appears as one of the minion of Dragüd, giving him the news that the one who destroyed his forces was Samus Aran, in that moment Doruba asks his boss if he can go to kill him, and after a warning him that Samus is still the lapdog of the Galactic Federation, he goes to fight Samus.
Riding a giant alien creature with back-mounted turrets, he attacks Samus and Joey, revealing that he wants to become the legend that got to kill the Great Samus Aran, after a battle where the creature that he is mounting did a lot of attacks to Samus, even resisting normal missiles, Samus ends up using her super misilles, killing Doruba and the beast.
