Doctor Q is the leader of the Dester organization and the secondary antagonist of Kyodai Ken Byclosser.
He is an arrogant scientist who seeks to gather the screams and suffering of children to offer as tribute to Devil Gola, so the idol will produce a rare gemstone for him to add to his collection.
He is portrayed by Kenji Ushio, who also played Ambassador Hell in the Kamen Rider series.
Biography
Upon learning of Devil Gola's location, Doctor Q sent his right-hand woman Sylvia to unearth the idol. Sylvia was able to successfully obtain the idol and transport it to Dester's secret base. Once Devil Gola was in Dester's lair, Doctor Q played for it the screams of children as tribute and was rewarded with a rare diamond the idol dispensed from its mouth. He then summoned the Dester Robot Onigan and tasked Sylvia with using it to gather the screams of more children, which he could use to obtain more gemstones for his collection from Devil Gola. As Sylvia was testing the robot's abilities however, Akemi Takeda drove by and fell victim to a landfall caused by Onigan with his bazooka. Sylvia attempted to have Onigan dispose of her, but the Byclossers arrived and saved her before destroying Onigan.
Doctor Q was displeased to hear that Onigan was destroyed, but soon sent out another Dester Robot, Jeronimo, to terrorize children and gather their screams for Devil Gola. However, the Byclossers again intervened, prompting Doctor Q to recall Jeronimo so he could study them. Doctor Q would later send out Jeronimo again, only for him to also be destroyed by the Byclossers. Soon after Jeronimo's defeat, Doctor Q noticed that one of the gems in his collection had been changed into a regular stone.
Personality
Doctor Q is a particularly self-centered individual with a very high opinion of himself, believing himself to be the world's greatest scientific mind. He is shown to be a rather refined individual, who spends much of his time collecting rare gems. Though he has grand aspirations, most of the time Doctor Q focuses his attention towards simply adding more gems to his collection. He cares not for the suffering of children or anyone else affected by his schemes, putting his own personal ambitions first and foremost.
