Captain Patch (whose real name is Jasper Hook) is a pirate captain of the Rake and is the older brother of James Hook who once served as his midshipman; so-called because Hook once took out his eye in a sword fight long ago. He appears as a vengeful ghost in two episodes. He was voiced by Ed Gilbert, who also voiced Smee.

Past
Jasper Hook was Captain of the Pirate Ship, the Rake, with his brother James as his Midshipman. One Christmas Day raid, the Hook brothers (Hook's name in this account is given as "James Hook") capture a ship transporting Cecilia, who James was Originally engaged too. On a Christmas Day, the two brothers have a disagreement over the sharing of the loot, fighting a duel in which Hook assumes command after gouging out his brother's eye, thus earning him the moniker of "Captain Patch". While Hook eventually finds his way to Neverland and earned a form of immortality, Patch perishes somewhere, and his treasure eventually ended up in Neverland. (Hook’s Christmas)

When Peter, John, and Slightly remove an emerald from a treasure chest the found in a cave, it ended up summoning Captain Patch's ghost, before Peter throws it back, sending the ghost back in the Chest. When Hook and his crew found the treasure chest, he claims it for himself, and scoffs the crew’s superstition of the chest being cursed. But after they bought it abroad the Jolly Roger, he removes the emerald, thus freeing the Ghost pirate, who then summoned his ghost ship, the Rake, in order to take revenge on his brother and conquer all of Neverland to serve as his undead crew for eternity.
Jasper later appeared in "Hook's Christmas" where the Ghost of Christmas Past (who resembles Wendy) shows Captain Hook his past when he used to work with his brother until the incident that led up to Jasper's death.
Trivia
In the ABC series, Once Upon a Time, Hook had an older brother named Liam Jones, who was captain of a navy ship with Killian as his Lieutenant. But he dies through dream shade in Neverland. Seeing the corruption of the British king who sent them to Neverland by wanting to use the Dreamshade as a weapon turned Killian to piracy with Liam’s crew. Presumingly, Liam is based off of Captain Patch.
