Biography
Season 4
Celsa is introduced in Two Journeys, standing with her mother and her older brothers William and Marcellus. She is a young and pretty child, and the only daughter. Her father, speaking in Old Norse, introduces his family to their two older cousins Bjorn and Hvitserk and the other Vikings. Introductions aside, the children are then swiftly taken away by one of their nannies.
Celsa later appears in The Great Army, standing next to her brother Marcellus as William and her father Rollo enter the palace. The children are again taken away by a nanny when their parents begin to talk.
Trivia
Celsa in Old English means "Victory." Despite the name being of Old English origin, Celsa is a princess daughter of a Nordic father and a Frankish mother. It is far likelier that like name of Marcellus, her name is of Latin origin. Names Celsus and Celsa mean "dignified, elevated, proud, noble".
