Emmy Mistral (エメ・ミストラル Eme misutoraru?) is a Shocktrooper from Valkyria Chronicles 4. She is one of the starting members of Squad E, and was also available in the demo.
Profile
Edinburgh army Squad E shocktrooper, age 21. Was working as a mercenary and bounty hunter. Can be cunning, violent, and coldly opportunistic.
She'll do anything for cash, even betray her friends. She's not very popular with her squad, but that doesn't seem to bother her much.
Growing up in poverty made her fixate on money. Her mother is currently hospitalized, and she never knew her father, who left in an early divorce.
After the war, she moved back to help look after her mother. Her recovery is going smoothly, and Emmy's grown more relaxed in quiet country life.

Notes
- While she is another Shocktrooper with Panicky, it is not nearly as debilitating as it was for Edy Nelson in the first game because Panicky now decreases evasion, as opposed to dropping vs Pers by 40% in VC1.
- Penny Pincher is very similar to the Jam Jinxed potential Mica Hawkins had in the first game: if it triggers, Emmy will only fire half of the normal number of rounds from her weapon. Unlike Mica's version, Emmy seems to still fire her flamethrower normally even if this Potential triggers, as opposed to his version where he would fail to fire at all.
- Her character-specific item is a letter from her mother (+2 vs Pers).
