Tools

Tools are items used to extend the player's ability to modify features of the surrounding environment (e.g. terraforming) or help them accomplish a particular task (e.g. drinking, mining).

Adventuring

•  Tankard – Is used as a shortcut for consuming mead.
•  Horn of Celebration – Is the same as the Tankard.
•  Dvergr tankard – Is also the same as the Tankard.
•  Torch – Is a useful light source that can also deal fire damage, but degrades over time and cannot be repaired.
•  Dvergr lantern – Can provide light and does not degrade, but cannot really be used as a weapon.

Building

•  Hammer – Is used for placing and repairing objects.
•  Hoe – Can be used to flatten/raise terrain and create paths/roads.

Farming

•  Cultivator – Is used for planting crops and trees.
•  Butcher knife – Allows the player to butcher tamed animals without frightening them.
•  Scythe – Used to harvest multiple crops at once.

Fishing

•  Fishing rod – Is the intended way of obtaining fish.
•  Fishing bait – Is required for using the fishing rod.

Logging (Axes)

•  Stone axe – Is a basic axe only capable of chopping down Beech, Fir and Pine trees.
•  Flint axe – Chops the same trees as Stone axe, but does more damage and is more durable.
•  Bronze axe – Can chop down Ancient, Birch, and Oak trees, in addition to what previous axes can chop.
•  Battleaxe – Is a two-handed axe that is slightly less powerful at chopping trees than Bronze axe
•  Iron axe – Chops the same trees as Bronze axe, but does more damage and is more durable.
•  Crystal battleaxe – Is a two-handed axe that is slightly less powerful at chopping trees than Iron axe.
•  Black metal axe – Can chop Yggdrasil trees, in addition to what previous axes can chop.
•  Jotun Bane – Chops the same trees as Black metal axe, but does more damage and is more durable.

Mining (Pickaxes)

•  Antler pickaxe – Can mine Stone, Copper, Tin, Muddy scrap pile, Abyssal barnacle
•  Bronze pickaxe – Can mine the same things as Antler pickaxe, but does more damage and is more durable.
•  Iron pickaxe – Can mine Obsidian, Silver, Glowing metal, in addition to what the previous pickaxes can.
•  Black metal pickaxe – Can mine Black marble, Soft tissue and Flametal in addition to what the previous pickaxes can.
