While she was formally released as a prank on March 27, 2012, her voicebank was publicly available since January 22 the same year.
A twitter bot account was made for her around March 2012 by s_kesai, the person who started her creation thread as well as the lyricist behind her debut song. Although, since s_kesai didn't know how to make twitter bots, the account never saw much activity.
Voicebank details
A voicebank was created for her and was used for her demo video. It was never given a formal release but it is a completed CV bank that used to be available on a now-defunct loader site and on the axfc filesharing site. Unfortunately this voicebank is lost media and traces of its creation can be found throughout the 2ch threads that created Hibiki.[1]

- When Hibiki was first proposed on her thread, not only did she come with her profile but also lyrics to a song all about eating poop. These lyrics were later used for her only demo, "The Person I Met that Day" by VictoryP.
- Her voice is provided by a male voice provider.
- SCATLOID (スカトロイド) is a double pun. SCATLOID is Scat + LOID, referencing her being a poop-themed "VOCALOID" but also a reference using the Japanese term to refer to scat porn, Sukatoro (スカトロ).
- SCATLOID is better known as the tag used on Nico Video for videos of VOCALOIDs singing scat-related songs or videos of a jinriki UTAU made from the videos of a poster who read stories of an infamous member of a gay scat forum board.[2]
- She was regarded in the Japanese community as a failed choukaloid, being name-dropped in the NND page for it and referred to as "Vipper's Dark Past", in reference to her lack of notoriety compared to other VIPPERloids.[3]
- Although she shares the same last name with the Inazune sisters, albeit with different readings, they aren't related to each other.
