Yukimura. (ゆきむら。) is an utaite who started in 2011. Their voice is described to be ikebo. They often livestream on their twitcast, post videos on their personal YouTube channel, and do a variety of other activities besides singing. Yukimura was an original member of the singing group Knight A, or 騎士A, along with Shiyun, Vau, Soma, Teruto, and Mahito. However, two years after the group’s debut, they “expressed intention to leave and return to solo activities”. They then graduated from the group, leaving it with five members.

Trigger warning; disturbing topics: Unbeknownst to many non-Japanese fans, Yukimura has some disturbing behaviors. On their personal homepage, translated as “The general headquarters of disorder[gloom], they document their experiences with mental disorders. One such quote is "the attitude of wanting to kill rather than wanting to die/ slander [bad language]/ superiority complex… manic depression/ evil supremacism/ physical self-mutilation…"[3] Concerningly, Yukimura has been hospitalized multiple times for リスカ, self inflicted injury, eating disorders, and such behaviors. [4] Because of this behavior, the Japanese community has mixed thoughts about Yukimura.

Trivia

  • Yukimura.'s name is from the historical samurai general Sanada Yukimura; they thought his name was cool and chose it without thinking.[1]
  • They were born and raised in Niigata,[6] then moved to live alone in Tokyo in 2019.
  • They are 172cm tall.[6]
  • Yukimura. has tattoos on both arms[7] and their left leg.[8] They also have at least 18 piercings, mostly on their ears, around their mouth, and fingers.[6]
  • Yukimura. has collaborated with the fashion brand ankoROCK, and modeled for the clothing and items they designed themself.[9]
  • They had hawk moth caterpillars as pets named オイ (Oi), お前 (Omae), and ふざけんなよ (Fuzakennayo) [lit. "Hey, you, stop messing around with me"].[10] One of them grew into a butterfly and let them go.[11]
  • They currently own a pet turtle named Kametaro.[12]
  • They have a cat named Seisatsu Yodatsu.[13].
