Shiver! Mystery in the Odd of Fossil Land (戦りつ！化石のへき地の謎, Senritsu! Kaseki no Hekichi no Nazo) is the 47th episode of Urusei Yatsura.

Summary

Lum, Ataru, Shinobu, Mendo and Ten are having a picnic in the mountains, in which a group of documentary TV crew are also exploring as it happens to be the training grounds of "a mysterious monk", and come upon another strange creature as a bunch of fossils are uncovered by Lum and Ten.

Trivia

• Cherry's statue would make a cameo in the episode Ranma 1/2 Nettohen episode "Ranma and Kuno's... First Kiss" and the 2002 film Inuyasha the Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass.

Differences from the Manga

Most of the material with the film crew and the scene on the bridge are original in the anime. The film crew first appears when the characters run past them after the creature made of fossils is brought to life.
