The Flamethrower is a weapon that appears in Until Dawn. It is only primarily used by The Stranger, mostly to defend himself from the Wendigos.
Overview
The flamethrower is the primary weapon of choice for the Stranger. He uses it to scare Wendigos away, or to scorch the armor-like skin off of the Wendigos if needed.
When it is fired, a large cloud of fire bursts out in a steady stream. This is seen throughout the game, starting from the Prologue, that is usually frightening the survivors.
Notes
- This weapon is not obtainable by any of the survivors throughout the game.
- The flamethrower resembles the M2 Flamethrower used by U.S. soldiers during World War 2.
- In beta builds from the PS3 incarnation, some protagonists could use the flamethrower as weapon against the wendigos in posterior chapters.
