Warren Rooke

Warren Rooke is an Australian former voice actor. He is notable in the Ultraman Series for being the second English voice actor of Ultraman, providing the character’s voice in the English dub of The 6 Ultra Brothers vs. The Monster Army. He is also notable in the Kamen Rider series for being the first English voice actor of Kamen Rider V3, providing the character's voice in Hanuman and the Five Kamen Riders.

Life

In the early 1960s, Warren moved from Australia to Hong Kong, where he would eventually work as a broadcaster at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). There, he would meet fellow broadcaster and voice actor Ted Thomas, who would later invite Warren to work at his dubbing company, Axis International. Warren would start a career working at RTHK and Axis International for 16 years, working on hundreds of films before Axis closed in 1982.

After this, Warren would continue to work at RTHK while taking a break from voice acting. Sometime during the mid-late 1980s, fellow voice actor and broadcaster Rick Thomas invited Warren to work at his dubbing company, Omni Productions. Warren would spend the rest of his time voice acting at Omni Productions and working at RTHK before retiring sometime in the mid-1990s, later leaving Hong Kong in the late 1990s to live in Macau.
