TGS-55 is a robot that appeared in episode 6 of the horror drama Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy.

Subtitle: Tokyo Underground Space Cleaning Robot (東京地空間清掃ロボット, Tōkyō-chi kūkan seisō robotto)

History

Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy

A killer weapon controlled by Mouse Catchers. The exterior looks like a track-driven armored vehicle or a heavy machine for civil work, it was used by the Mouse Catchers to kill the people in the underground. It is equipped with a laser pointer that is also equipped by the Mouse Catchers. In the episode, there are no clear killing scenes and no description of the robot including the name.

Trivia

"TGS" is an acronym for "TOKYO Gerofront Sweeper".
The "final edition" double door guide book describes it subtitle as Self-propelled Cleaning Robo (自走型清掃ロボ, Jisō-gata seisō robo)
The TGS-55 in the novel version is a snake-like robot that looks like connecting boxes, and uses the loader in front of the body to stir people into minced meat.
The TGS-55 in the comic version is a huge robot that smashes the underground city.
