History

Pre-Ultraman Decker

Nagi Urasawa 12

Urasawa hails from a poverty-stricken fishing village called Wadatsumi Village, which has been worshipping "Lord Ragon" for the past 200 years. It is believed that Lord Ragon can bring bountiful harvests to the village, but those who forget about this creature or do not believe in him will face consequences. He usually appears before young women with pure hearts. Nearby, at Mount Uzume, there is an ancient archaeological site known as Ama's Arch, dating back to the Neolithic era. This is the stage where Ragonites perform the ritual called "The Ragon Dance" to appease Lord Ragon and send him back to the eternal realm.

Seventy years ago, a young Urasawa befriended a juvenile Ragon and received a cherry clam from him. However, she was deemed "possessed" by the Ragonite of that time, leading to the Ragon Dance ceremony, during which she witnessed Ragon returning to the other world.

Since then, in order to preserve the village's heritage and to see Lord Ragon again, Urasawa decided to become a historian and Ragonite. As time passed, Wadatsumi Village underwent urban renewal, transforming into a burgeoning town.

In modern times, due to landslides affecting the land where Ama's Arch is located, the foundation has become unstable, and the government plans to demolish it for safety reasons. In order to protect this archaeological site, Urasawa decides to disguise herself as Ragon to intimidate and drive away the construction company and government officials, attempting to halt the construction.

However, this incident attracts the attention of GUTS-Select, and Urasawa meets Ichika Kirino, who has come to investigate. After being discovered as the mastermind behind the scare tactics, she reveals everything to Ichika and Sawa.

Meanwhile, the real Ragon, angered by being forgotten, emerges in the archaeological site and begins to wreak havoc in Wadatsumi City, attempting to flood the urban area. Urasawa exclaims, "We have forgotten our bond with the sea. Lord Ragon, driven by anger from its long-time seal, has become a vengeful deity. No one can stop it now!"

Ichika Kirino 31

As the last Ragonite, Urasawa decided to attend the Ragon Dance at Ama's Arch, successfully summoning Ragon. Upon reuniting with Ragon, she made up her mind to leave with him. When Ichika, who came to intervene, approached her, Urasawa expressed that all the people and things she cherished had long departed from this world, and she wanted to escape alongside Ragon. She claimed that the young ones could not possibly understand the feeling of being left behind. Ichika countered, stating that she could also comprehend that sense of "being left behind" and believed that what Urasawa needed was not to escape this world with Ragon but to bid him a proper farewell. Nevertheless, Urasawa persisted in leaving with Ragon and transformed into a youthful form, entering Ama's Arch.

In order to save Urasawa, Ichika also ventured into Ama's Arch. Just as the two were about to disappear into another dimension, they were fortunately rescued by the arriving Ultraman Decker. Finally, the two managed to escape and witnessed Ragon waving goodbye as the ruins collapsed, engulfing him.

Afterwards, Urasawa accepted Ragon's departure, and she and Ichika became good friends. She gave Ichika the cherry clam obtained from Ragon as a gift.
