Masanori Kakei is a Japanese director, known for directing many Ultraman Series episodes during the Showa era.
Career
After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Kyoto Imperial University, Kakehi joined Toho in 1940, where he primarily worked as a film director. In 1968, he left Toho to become a freelancer.
During the 1970s, he served as a director for the Ultraman series.
