History

Mirrorman

Haebuns were one of three types of big vermin created by Invaders using cosmic radiation this one based on flies. Like their kin, Haebuns were made to spread disease and hurt the planet's grain supply to cause a global famine. This plot was foiled partially because of a small girl, named Sumire, that Kyotaro knew that had foresight capabilities, leading him to the Invaders' base. Four of the Invaders responsible merged together thanks to a space ship beam to become Dustpan. After Mirrorman destroyed Dustpan no more of the mutant insects could be made.

Trivia

• Haebun is based on a fly, as evidenced by his name, which comes from hae, or fly in Japanese, and bu-n, an onomatopoeia for buzzing, like a fly's wings.

Haebun is one of the three Mirrorman kaiju to be released as a figurine for the very first time, sold as part of the third wave of the HG Series X (Cross) "Shinji Higuchi Selection" lineup.

Haebun is released along with Ultraman/Lipiah (First Contact), Mirrorman, Dorobon, Dustpan, Mothgojira, and Gokibura. Each figure comes with a build-a-figure piece of Tyrant, with Haebun coming with its 1/2 of the tail.
