Gold King was a subspecies of Red King that was exposed to high radiation levels. He appeared in Ultra Strategy, Mobilization of the Science Patrol!.

Ultra Strategy, Mobilization of the Science Patrol!
Once an ancestor of Red King, the Kaiju was mutated after consuming a large quantity of radioactive materials on the sea bed where he had been resting. He grew pores on his body to contain their radioactive materials and consistently attacked ships carrying nuclear materials and nuclear plants to sustain itself. Eventually, Gold King came up onto land and headed the Hokkakon uranium reactor 235. There, Mitsuhiro Ide of the SSSP was waiting with a nuclear decomposition gun that he used to drain Gold King of his energy, which killed the Kaiju.
