History
Return of Ultraman
The Kaiju first made its presence known near a power plant. Jiro Sakata, seeking answers to his math homework, was loaned the notebook of a young boy named Susumu Kato's, which contained his answers and drawings of the Kaiju. After being caught copying Kato's work, Hideki Go accompanied Jiro to return the notebook to Kato's mother and grew suspicious of Kato. Upon confronting him, Go discovered another boy, bound and gagged in a car, who was the real Kato. The imposter, named Shiro, fled the scene, prompting a search for him.
As MAT learned more about Shiro's troubled life, they began to suspect a connection between Shiro and the recent Kaiju events. Eledortus reappeared at a railroad, destroying a train with its heat beam before vanishing again. During the investigation by MAT, Go spotted Shiro fleeing the scene.
Go decided to show Shiro some kindness, though even he came to believe the boy was a liar on the mattwr due to his previous actions and lies as well as his contradictory claims, like stating Eledortus was both the monster he liked and hated the most, followed by arbitrarily claiming he couldn't trust MAT when being questioned on such a statement. Go also noticed a toy resembling the Kaiju in Shiro’s home.
Eledortus suddenly appeared near a railroad, consuming electricity from nearby power lines. As the Kaiju rampaged through the area, MAT's attempts to stop it were futile. Shiro rushed in and called out to the Kaiju, yelling for it to rampage and destroy Tokyo, after which Eledortus even attacked Shiro with its energy ray. Go intervened, using his pistol, but was quickly overpowered and pinned under train rubble.
Ultraman Jack took over and confronted Eledortus. The Kaiju initially overpowered Jack with an energy beam from its tail and repelled his attacks with its electric body. As Jack's timer started blinking, he attempted a jumping attack but was blocked by the Kaiju withdrawing its head into its shell and was knocked down again by its tail beam. MAT provided a distraction, allowing Jack to use his Spacium Beam to destroy Eledortus, ultimately blowing it to pieces.Revenge of the Monster Lad
