Chiho Wakita is a supporting character in Ultraman: Rising. She is Ami Wakita's daughter.
History
Ultraman: Rising
Chiho is Ami Wakita's young daughter and a devoted Ultraman fan. She always carries an Ultraman mask with her and often interacts with her mother with energetic and playful enthusiasm. Since Ami is usually busy with work, Chiho is often taken care of by her grandmother.
When Chiho first appears, she sneaks into a soba restaurant and interrupts Ami and Ken Sato's conversation. She pretends to be Ultraman, stands on the table playing, and puts an Ultraman mask on Ken, complimenting him on how cool he looks.
In the following scenes, Chiho is shown interacting with Ami at home. While Ami is on the phone with Ken, she talks about balancing work and family responsibilities, comparing caring for Chiho to taking care of a little kaiju. Despite the challenges and surprises, she explains how both she and Chiho learn from and grow with each other, which inspires Ken.
When Ami goes to Meguro for an interview with Ken, Chiho and her grandmother are out shopping in Tokyo. They meet up with Ami and encounter Emi. Chiho pretends to be Ultraman and strikes a fighting pose at Emi, but Ami quickly pulls her away to hide from Emi's pursuit along with other citizens.
A while later, Chiho, Ami, and her grandmother were stuck in traffic on a highway near Tokyo Bay. At that moment, they encountered Emi and Ultraman again, witnessing Ultraman's final battle with the Destroyer.

Trivia
- Chiho has collected many Ultraman toys and has placed "Ultraman Picture Books" in the living room.
- While playing Ultraman role-playing games with Ami, Chiho indirectly mentioned the existence of Gazort.
- According to character designer Keiko Murayama, Chiho's fluffy hair and Ultraman mask were inspired by a photo of herself wearing an Ultraman costume when she was three or four years old.[2] This image greatly appealed to Shannon Tindle, who wanted to incorporate it into the film. As a result, Murayama designed Chiho's character based on this idea.
- Additionally, Chiho's shoe design was actually inspired by Pigmon.[3]
