Faye is a healer at the Lycaeum in the time of Ultima V. Typical of merchants in the game she had no dialogue options, although it is assumed that she was responsible for healing Mariah, as Mariah occupied one of the sickbeds in The Shield of Truth.
In the Lazarus version of the game, Faye has full dialogue. As Britannia is under the fist of the Oppression but the Lycaeum is not yet under its sway, she is also one of the few healers in the game who will offer to Resurrect party members. Born and raised in the Lycaeum to mage parents, Faye studied magic from an early age and was quick to discover her true forte was in the arts of healing. Coupling this talent with medicinal remedies made her a powerful healer, and she rose to the official position in the Lycaeum when her predecessor passed away. When Mariah was brought to the Lycaeum, seriously wounded by a Shadowlord, it was Faye who removed the black arrow and slowly restored the mage to health.
