Big Ben is a lumberjack in Yew in Ultima VI.
Big Ben was a giant of a man whom the Avatar met just outside of Yew. In the past, Ben had entered and won a wood-chopping contest sponsored by Lord British. After his victory, Lord British tried to recruit Ben into the military, but he refused to join. When the Avatar met him, Ben was worried that Lord British would send men to try to force him into the military.
Ben sold the Avatar a freshly cut yew log, which the Avatar later used to create a set of panpipes.
