ChrysaorWP (クリューサーオール, Kuryūsāōru?) is a Greek mythological figure.
Profile
Background
Chrysaor is the child of Medusa and Poseidon in Greek mythology, born after Perseus beheaded Gorgon Medusa. Chrysaor is said to be the son of Medusa and brother of Pegasus, but the Pegasus was actually a gift from Poseidon to Medusa. Chrysaor is said to have fathered many monsters and have been born holding a golden blade.[1][2]
Since Chrysaor is said to have had Geryon, who had three bodies, and Echidna, the mother of countless Demonic Beasts, as his children, he is called the "Father of Monsters". Chrysaor's true nature and appearance are shrouded in mystery, though he may have resembled a young Medusa when he was born.[3] Medusa herself refuses to speak about it, and it is uncertain whether she does not know because he came to be after her death, or whether she does know but remains silent.[2]
Role
Fate/Grand Order
The Noble Phantasm of Medusa in her Saber form is a golden sword named Chrysaor: Monstrous Golden Blade, though it is unclear if it is Chrysaor's sword or Chrysaor himself as a sword, as Medusa feels unexplainable maternal affection toward it.[1]

The monster was slain by the hero.
The terrible Gorgon took many lives in its wrath, but in the end, it was defeated.
Its body was put to many uses by gods and men.
Fatal poisons and elixirs to raise the dead were made from its blood vessels.
The blood that fell upon the desert turned to poisonous snakes.
Its head became a weapon of unmatched power.
The great hero Heracles said its hair could cause an army to rout if it was held up three times.
It's said that generations later, Iskandar, the Conquering King, would add an image of the Gorgon's head as an emblem to his own portrait.
The monster's corpse granted unmatched power, and was used as a symbol for generations to come.
But what of the two Mystics that were born from the blood of the wound inflicted by the hero Perseus?
The Pegasus. The Chrysaor.
Were they gifts from the god of the sea, as the legend says?
Or perhaps...
Were they the last remnants of emotion of a monster that did not want others making use of its corpse?
