Thomas on the Moon is a book originally released in February 2001. It was re-released in January 2017 as part of the Little Golden Books series.
Plot
Thomas is taking some children to a space convention. Thomas leaves Annie and Clarabel at the platform and goes to join the children. A guide tells the children where the planets are and about them. Soon the children are hungry and Thomas brings snacks. Next they look at a moon rock which is on display. Then they hear Thomas' whistle, and see Thomas on a background of outer space. Later that night Sir Topham Hatt asks Thomas if he had a good time. Thomas says yes and dreams that someday he might go to the moon.
