Sodor Trading Co. is a company based at Brendam Docks and Knapford Harbour. One of its large buildings appeared regularly throughout the third series and in the fourth series.

- The building is based on the Gloucester Waterways Museum where David Mitton's tugboats "Thomas" and "Kennet" were moored.
- The fire station and the brown building opposite the company, as well as the grey building next to the company are from TUGS.
