Night Light is a rhyming magazine story.

Plot

When Elizabeth rolls into a ditch, Rosie spots her close to the level crossing and is able to pull her out without too much trouble. Later, Lorry 1 breaks down and Rosie kindly offers to take his load.

The next day, Rosie is busy working into the night. Unfortunately, the trucks are misbehaving and their loads of scrap metal tumble out. Rosie knows they must retrieve, but has no idea how they'll find it in the dark. Then, Elizabeth and Lorry 1 come driving through the night as they heard all the noise. They offer their headlamps for some light.
