Cronk (T&F)

Cronk is a town located around roughly halfway along the North Western Main Line.

History

Once, when the diesel fuel for the Pack ran out while they were digging foundations for a new dairy barn, Isobella was sent to Cronk to pick up fresh fuel which had been delivered by Thomas.

Later, Percy brought Jack and Alfie to Cronk to build a new repair shed next to the station. While racing around the construction site, Max burst a water pipe, turning the ground around it into mud and nearly sinking Alfie. Thankfully, Byron was able to rescue him before he could sink too far.

The Brickworks, the Warehouse and the Fuel Depot are located here.

• In the French dub of the seventeenth series episode Gordon Runs Dry, Gordon calls Cronk "les grillons" (meaning: the crickets).
• Cronk is the only station on the Main Line to have been depicted with only a single track (outside of the Jack and the Sodor Construction Company mini-series, where it gains a second track).
