Ballamoddey

Ballamoddey (Sudric for The Farm of the Dog, and noted in Wilbert's Mid Sodor layout timetable to be pronounced "Ballamodthey") is a hamlet on Sodor. It was a station during the heyday of the Mid Sodor Railway.

History

Ballamoddey station was built in 1880, as part of the Mid Sodor Railway's expansion towards Peel Godred.

The mountain section of the Mid Sodor Railway was closed in 1936 and with it Ballamoddey.
