Tsurune: Kazemai High School Kyudo Club (ツルネ ―風舞高校弓道部―, Tsurune ―Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu―?, lit. Sound of Bowstring ―Kazemai High School Japanese Archery Club―) is a Japanese light novel series written by Kotoko Ayano and originally illustrated by Chinatsu Morimoto. It was submitted to the 7th Kyoto Animation Awards under the name Yata no Mori Kyudojo (夜多の森弓道場, Yata no Mori Kyuudoujou?) and won the Special Judge Award in the novel category.[1] Kyoto Animation published the first novel on December 26, 2016 under their KA Esuma Bunko imprint. An anime was announced to be released in October 2018.
Synopsis
The series follows the Kazemai High School Kyudo Club as they aim to go to the national tournament while overcoming the many obstacles on their way.

The anime was announced on October 23, 2017 to be airing on NHK.[2] It was directed by Takuya Yamamura at Kyoto Animation with Michiko Yokote in charge of series composition and Miku Kadowaki designing the characters.[3] A compilation film of the first season with new scenes premiered in August 2022. A second season was announced and will air in January 2023.
