Hazakura

A Hazakura (髪桜(はざくら), Hazakura) is a type of Netsuke (根付(ねつけ), Netsuke). It is a carving in the shape of a sakura flower attached to a small cord with a small bell. It is a charm which can detect the presence of amasogi and aberrations while acting as a protective charm against them.[1]

Usage

The Hazakura can be used to the identify the presence of amasogi and aberrations. When brought close to the amasogi item it will begin to rattle. It passively protects its holder from the effects of the amasogi.
