Paul started working for Atelier 801 in 2013 (known only as the "mysterious graphist")^[1] and was first seen under the username "Paul" sometime in March/April 2015 as he was working on Dead Maze. He has also worked on Fortoresse. He was first mentioned as Paul on an unofficial forum post, and was connected to Dead Maze based on the timing of his name's appearance.^[2].

No official link between Paul and the "mysterious graphist" was made until Melibellule confirmed it on her blog.^[3]
