Background
On October 16, 2022, DVI was revealed as an upcoming boy group at the OCTPOP 2022 concert, where they performed "Sugar".
On January 25, 2023, a teaser posted across the group's social medias announced their debuting work, confirming the single to be "Sugar", of which the music video would be released on January 30.[1] The single was made available on streaming sites one day earlier on January 29.
