Project M.O.N (โปรเจกต์มัน; short for MEN OF NO1R) is a project trainee boy group under NO1R.
The group is an experimental project where NO1R will gather a variety of male artists and will train them by dividing them into temporary units with no restrictions, such as in a group, trio or duo, and release different types of music to test their chemistry and measure their popularity. After this screening, only the most popular members will sign an official contract with the label.[1]
History
Pre-debut
On August 9, 2023, NO1R teased an upcoming new project; The project was later revealed to be called PROJECT M.O.N.[2][3] The auditions for the group opened on August 11 for any males between the ages of 18-28, and would run until September 15.[1]
On November 27, 2023, the project's official social media accounts opened, as well as teasing that the first trainees would be introduced soon.[4] On November 29, the project's first trainee, Tatam, was announced[5]; This was followed by Louis on November 30.[6]
