Kuyō (九葉)^[3], also known as Grand General Kuyō, is a supporting character introduced in Toukiden: Kiwami.

Strategist of the Holy Mount. A high-ranking official, and overseer of the activities of the "Hundred Demon Corps." He has accompanied the Third Company of the Hundred Demon Corps to Utakata, in order to slay the Oni from the north. A brilliant military tactician, he is also cruel, heartless, and ruthlessly pragmatic. He commanded the forces of the Holy Mount during the Awakening eight years previously, and it was he who decided to make a strategic withdrawal from the north of the Midlands.^[4]

Toukiden: Kiwami (in-game)

Grand General of the Holy Mount. A top-ranking civil servant who rules over the Hundred Demon Corps, he takes its Third Company to Utakata in order to defeat the northern Oni. A gifted strategist, he is ruthless and pragmatic to the last.

Strategist for the Holy Mount. He led the fight during the Awakening and took his elite unit into battle at Yokohama to repel the Oni invasion. However, he is referred to as the "Blood-soaked Demon" due to the countless men he sacrificed in battle.^[1]

Toukiden 2 (in-game)

Grand General of the Holy Mount. A tactical genius, he is emotionless and an extreme realist. During the Awakening ten years ago he sent his own special ops unit into Yokohama and halted the advance of the Oni. He is known as the "Bloody Demon" due to the sacrifices paid that day. He visits Mahoroba Village as an observer for the Rite of Selection.
