Dominique


Dominique is one of Mandy's best friends, along with Caitlin and Samantha's arch-nemesis and rival.

Biography

Both she and Caitlin were written out of the series after "Evil Graduation" in Season 5 and were replaced by Mandy's cousin, Mindy, as they are probably attending colleges far from Malibu University. Dominique does appear in the prequel feature film that was later released, showing they have known Mandy since the spies' first mission.

She speaks with a valley girl accent, similar to Clover.

Dominique and Caitlin seem to be Mandy's closest, or rather, only friends because whenever Mandy's not with either one or both of them, she doesn't seem to hang out with anyone else. In fact, Dominique and Caitlin seem closer to each other than they do to Mandy.

Dominique, as well as Caitlin, appear in Season 7 episode "Undercover Supervillains". It's shown the three girls as still best friends, and still mean. They are seen traveling in London while taking selfies and laughing at how Alex believed in Mandy's lies about her sick iguana. The three were then caught in shock as the Bing Bang is destroyed and stolen.

Personality

Dominique enjoys her popularity and will seek out other popular people to hang out with to boost her own. She is materialistic and is used to a life of indifference. Like her friends, she enjoys riling up the spies and being arrogant. When needed, she can be supportive but it's not certain how genuine it is.

As with any teenager, she is obsessed with fashion and celebrities.

Physical Appearance

She has short, dark red hair in a bob style similar to Alex's hair, blue eyes, peach skin, and wears fuchsia purple lip gloss. In seasons 1-2 (as well as the film), her hair lacked a fringe at the ends and was more curled at the front tips, while in season 4 and onwards, it was given a straight-cut fringe while still being curved towards the front.

Like her friends, Dominique has worn various outfits throughout the series. She has worn 2 Catsuits in the series: cyan ("Evil Jerry") as part of the "Spy Chic" trend, and purple ("Totally Busted") when she was a spy-ssassin.

Friends

Caitlin

When not hanging out with Mandy, Dominique hangs out with Caitlin and the two appear to get along very well. It's uncertain as to where their friendship is after high school.

Mandy

Although she is her friend and normally goes along with her antics, Dominique isn't always seen with Mandy. And at one point she even wanted to hang out with Samantha when she started getting more popular than Mandy. In "Totally Spies! The Movie", Dominique was seen carrying Mandy's shopping bags. Regardless she does seem to enjoy her company. Both Dominique and Caitlin didn't appear again after graduating, were not mentioned by either Mandy nor the spies. However, both Dominique and Caitlin appeared in Season 7's episode "Undercover Supervillains", where they were hanging out with Mandy in London, laughing and taking selfies with her, meaning the three are still best friends even after going to different colleges.

Enemies

Samantha

Samantha is Dominique's rival, but Dominique has very little interaction with her and only interacts when Mandy is present. The most interaction Dominique ever had with Sam was in the Season 4 finale, "Totally Busted", when Dominique was under the influence of a spy-sassin suds.

Alexandra

Alex is Caitlin's rival, but the two barely interact outside Mandy's presence. The most they've interacted was in Season 4's finale, "Totally Busted".

Clover

Clover is Mandy's rival and Dominique has very little interaction with her. The majority of her interaction with Clover only happens when Mandy is present. The most interaction Dominique ever had with Clover was in the Season 4 finale, "Totally Busted".

Romantic Interests

Roy

"Roy" affectionately called "Roy-friend" was Dominique's "boyfriend" in "Matchmaker" after she went through a matchmaking service called, "Arrow through the Heart". She was completely enamored by "Roy" only to be stood up at the Valentine's day dance leaving her devastated. However, this heartbreak turned into rage when she learned that "Roy" was one of the many alias of one man named Eugene Snit who took revenge on all women and love because he was dumped by his girlfriend.

Trivia

  • The first time Caitlin and Dominique were referred to directly by name in the regular series was in the season 4 finale "Totally Busted". There Dominique attacks Sam in her bedroom as a spy-ssassin. Prior to that they were called Caitlin and Dominique in "Sis-KaBOOM-Bah!" but it was not made clear who was who.
  • She is the only one out of her friends whose relatives have not been shown.
  • Although Dominique is Sam's rival, her hairstyle is similar to Alex's.
  • She returns in "Undercover Supervillains".
  • Her voice actress Andrea Baker, also voices Clover.
