Hitoshi was an avid gourmet with a love for food. He was also an overconfident gambler, and it was his overconfidence that would end up being his undoing and force him to become an average joe.
History
Past
At some point in his past, Hitoshi was a famous gourmet who went to the Jidar Kingdom in hopes of winning it big at the Gourmet Casino by defeating Livebearer in a game. However, Hitoshi was no match for Livebearer and had his important and food-related memories taken away and stored as Taste Data in the casino.
After losing his most cherished and valuable memories, Hitoshi quit his gourmet career and was forced to live a normal life.
Meteor Garlic Arc
Hitoshi's Taste Data was one of the many valuable memories stored in Livebearer's personal office. When Komatsu saw Hitoshi's Taste Data as well as others, he quickly recognized the names of the owners' memories who were all famous gourmets.
